The Babaylan Project started as a personal venture to the Philippines to retrieve my historical roots and furthermore learn about our indigenous traditions. The Babaylan Project is now an ongoing project to continue the learning of Philippine Indigenous traditions and practice them within my artistic and creative framework. With art as a tool to connect with the Toronto Filipino Community and the Broader Community, I can share my knowledge as well as, help others retrieve their own personal history through visual art, dialogical art, and expressive art therapy.
